Tomorrow is so I wanted to share my super easy taco meat recipe & also show off these low carb taco bowl shells that I made using @cutdacarb 🌮
Taco Meat Recipe
Ingredients:
-2 tbsp olive oil or butter
-1 lb ground beef @johnsfarmok
-1 small onion, finely diced
-2 garlic cloves, minced
-1 5.5 oz @v8juice
-2 tbsp @daksspices taco knight seasoning
-1 tsp dried oregano
-1 tsp dried cilantro
-1 tsp sea salt
-1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions:
1. Add oil or butter to a pan over medium heat. Sauté the onions for about 5 minutes then add the garlic.
2. Stir in the spices & herbs to the onions. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon to make sure it doesn’t form large chunks.
3. Brown the beef for about 8 minutes then add the V8 juice and simmer for 2 minutes. Enjoy on a low carb bowl, taco or salad!
*I made low carb taco bowls using @cutdacarb (place a bowl upside down in a pot with oil. Heat the oil to medium and place the flatbread over the bowl and fry for about 2 minutes or until crispy)
